Editorial policy
What is written here, by whom, and against what.
Who writes it
The catalog team that keeps the measurements. Product pages are assembled from the catalog; the guides and the articles are written and then read against the sources named on them.
What gets checked
Every number printed in prose is checked against the catalog before publication: widths, depths, heights, drawer counts and prices. A figure that cannot be checked does not go in.
What we refuse to claim
No test results, no certifications, no awards and no customer counts. The one checkable claim we make about ourselves is the year we started, 2019.
Photographs
Each colorway is shown in its own photographs. Frames with printed claims or measurement graphics laid over them are left out.
Sources
Public guidance is read before it is cited, and the date it was read is printed with it. The list is on how we update the catalog.
Corrections
Mistakes get changed rather than argued about. Write to roomset@karl-home.com with the page.
