Sit height first, fabric second
An accent chair is bought for one spot: the corner by a window, the space beside a bed, the end of a sofa. The seat height tells you whether it sits with the sofa or above it, and the seat depth tells you whether you will read in it or perch on it. Where the brand lists either, it is on the page of the chair.
The fabrics here are corduroy, chenille, linen weaves and a bronzing cloth that reads like leather. Corduroy and chenille have a pile that shows the direction it was brushed. Linen weaves show less of a sitting mark and more of the weave itself.
